The Oswayo Valley School District will continue to require masks of all students, staff, and visitors to the school until we see a substantial decrease in the number of cases that are impacting our education. With the removal of the mask mandate, there are still requirements in place for contact tracing and quarantine for positive cases. This will impact our ability to instruct in-person which is the driving force which helped our board make the decision to maintain the masking while in school. Our primary focus is the health and safety of our OV Family! The formal Health and Safety plan will be adjusted to reflect the CDC guidance for schools and we will revisit this plan on a bimonthly basis in the future.
