Chromebook Support

During the Remote Virtual Instruction days –  please join the following Google Meeting from your Oswayo account to ask questions on accessing your district technology.   Members of the faculty and staff will be monitoring this channel all day:

If you need assistance with using your school-issued chromebook,  email helpdesk@oswayo.com with a description of your issue.

Once you are on with a technology support team member, please go to the following website on your school-issued chromebook:
  • https://remotedesktop.google.com/support
  • Students will click “Generate Code” to output a random 12 digit code that you will provide to the OV support representative to allow access to your computer.
  • You will then receive a popup confirming that the support representative is accessing your chromebook. Click share.
  • The support representative will be able to remotely control your chromebook to provide assistance.
  • You may stop screen sharing at any time by clicking the “Stop” button in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
